Know about Priyanka Chopra’s 1st wax statue at madam Tussauds
Bollywood’s ‘desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra, who has made every
Indian proud after establishing herself as a global icon post Quantico,
launched her first-ever Madame Tussauds figure in New York City, today.
Priyanka had a private session with the sculptors from Madam
Tussauds at her apartment in New York City. The statue is a recreation of her
2016 Emmy Awards look, where she’s seen wearing a red gown designed by Jason
Wu. While the wax statue looks stunning and almost real, we couldn’t ignore the
botched lip-job that it received.
Madame Tussauds also shared a video of their personnel
working on Priyanka’s measurements to perfect the look of the statue. During
the unveiling, Priyanka struck a similar pose as the statue, though she chose
to wear a shoulderless, black top and trousers. Posting the pictures &
video on Instagram, Priyanka wrote, “<– Me when I saw my new wax figure at

In case you don’t know the London site already has a huge
lineup of B-town stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan,
Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit and Katrina Kaif.
Baahubali 2 has created a phenomenon at the box-office and now for the fans of the real ‘Baahubali’ Prabhas has some more good news. The actor has now got his wax figure immortalized at Madame Tussauds Bangkok.
The statue features Prabhas as Amarendra Baahubali from SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus. Meanwhile, photos of his wax statue are going viral on the internet and his fans are already going gaga over it.
With this news, Prabhas has become the first South Indian actor to have his statue at the prestigious museum.
It was ‘Baahubali 2’ director Rajamouli who had broken this news by tweeting, ‘Very happy to announce that Madame Tussauds is making a wax statue of our PRABHAS… First South Indian to be honoured thus.”
Meanwhile, on the box office front, Baahubali 2 has passed the Monday test with flying colors. The Hindi version of the film has grossed a total of Rs. 168. 25 crores in a span of four days itself.

If you have been someone who has always been curious and excited about visiting Madame Tussauds but could never visit it, here is a news that will make you happy. Merlin Entertainments, a leading visitor attraction operator announced that the branch of the world-famous wax museum Madame Tussauds is all set to make its great Indian debut in Delhi in 2017.
In a media statement, Merlin Entertainments Chief New Openings Officer John Jakobsen said,
“We are delighted to be announcing that our 22nd Madame Tussauds attraction will be opening in Delhi. Ever since we introduced Amitabh Bachchan as the first Bollywood figure in Madame Tussauds London in 2000, we have seen how Madame Tussauds appeals to the Indian consumer…having a permanent attraction in the heart of the country’s capital made perfect sense for the evolution of the Madame Tussauds story.”
An agency report further states that the museum is all set to be launched mid-next year in the Regal Cinema at Connaught Place and will be spread over two floors.
