Know about Priyanka Chopra’s 1st wax statue at madam Tussauds

Bollywood’s ‘desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra, who has made every Indian proud after establishing herself as a global icon post Quantico, launched her first-ever Madame Tussauds figure in New York City, today.

Priyanka had a private session with the sculptors from Madam Tussauds at her apartment in New York City. The statue is a recreation of her 2016 Emmy Awards look, where she’s seen wearing a red gown designed by Jason Wu. While the wax statue looks stunning and almost real, we couldn’t ignore the botched lip-job that it received.

Madame Tussauds also shared a video of their personnel working on Priyanka’s measurements to perfect the look of the statue. During the unveiling, Priyanka struck a similar pose as the statue, though she chose to wear a shoulderless, black top and trousers. Posting the pictures & video on Instagram, Priyanka wrote, “<– Me when I saw my new wax figure at Madame Tussauds in NYC @nycwax
