“Tragic Accident: 10 Fatalities as Two Military Helicopters Collide in Lumut, Malaysia”

In a tragic incident that has shaken Malaysia, at least ten lives were lost following a harrowing mid-air collision involving two Malaysian Armed Forces helicopters on Tuesday.

The devastating crash unfolded within the confines of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) base in Lumut earlier in the day.

Disturbing footage capturing the collision has emerged online, depicting a group of military helicopters engaged in maneuvers over the air base when two of them tragically collided, leading to their subsequent crash.

While initial reports from local news sources remain unconfirmed, indications suggest that none of the occupants aboard the two helicopters survived the catastrophic event.

It’s been disclosed that the M503-3 Maritime Operations Helicopter (HOM) carried a crew of seven, while the other, M502-6, accommodated three individuals.

Both helicopters were reportedly participating in formation training exercises, aligned with preparations for Navy Day, slated to unfold from May 3-5.

This heartbreaking episode underscores the inherent risks associated with military training operations and serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those serving in the armed forces.
