Not only humans are Covid19 carriers, but animals are too. 2 cats in New York tested positive with COVID19
There are every day new developments in the COVID19 cases. Until now it was believed that COVID19 can grip only humans but now new discoveries are making this virus more pandemic for human life to exist on our planet. Two cats in New York, America has been tested positive with COVID19.
The cats, from separate areas of New York state, had mild respiratory illness and are expected to make a full recovery. It is believed that they contracted the virus from people in their households or neighborhoods, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP).
According to US health authorities there is no evidence that animals too can spread this virus. SO, we can think that animals suffering from COVID19 can’t transmit it to humans beings. But if think this logically then US health authority claims seems pathetic because if we humans can transmit COVID19 virus to animals then how can’t they!
“There is no evidence that pets play a role in spreading the virus in the United States,” the CDC said in a statement. “Therefore, there is no justification in taking measures against companion animals that may compromise their welfare. Further studies are needed to understand if and how different animals, including pets, could be affected.”
