8 August, 2022 (New Delhi): Recently, the poster of a film named ‘Hum Do Hamare Barah’ was released, on which controversy has arisen and outrage is being expressed on social media. Filmmaker Kamal Chandra recently released the poster of this film. The subject of the film is related to population explosion among the Muslim community. There is also a line written on the poster – soon we will leave China behind. People are questioning the intention behind making this film. Journalist Rana Ayyub has also questioned the censor board and the producers of the film on the intention of making this film. Now the reaction of Kamal Chandra and the film’s lead actor Annu Kapoor has come on this whole issue.

Rising population in the country has been a serious issue for a long time. A report by the World Health Organization has also claimed that India will overtake China in terms of increasing population by next year. Keeping this in mind, a film named Hum Do Hamare Baarah is being made, whose poster has become a controversy. Showing a particular community in the poster, an attempt has been made to indicate that it has a big hand in the growing population of the country.

In an interview director Kamal Chandra to know about this, he said, ‘The poster of our film ‘Hum Do Hamare Barah’ is not controversial at all. It needs to be seen with the right perspective. We want to assure you that we are not targeting any particular community through this film. I am sure that people will be very happy when they see this film made on the most important issue of current times. This film is on the issue of increasing population and we are making it without hurting anyone’s sentiments. Nor are we favoring anyone in this film.’

Kamal Chandra further said, ‘Whenever I get a good script, I get very excited and I plan to make that film. Any creative person would be excited to make such a relevant film. Today people of a particular community are thinking that they are being targeted through our film. If we had made a film showing some other community, the same thing would have been said. I feel that cinema is the best medium to express our thoughts and feelings. I appeal to everyone not to make an issue of this. Population explosion is a very serious matter and has been consuming our country for a long time. Unless we think about it seriously, then our country will not be able to progress according to the way we want. I appeal to everyone to look at the poster and the film from the right perspective.

Angry Annu Kapoor said this thing
at the same time, Annu Kapoor also got enraged by the controversy over the poster of ‘Hum Do Hamare Barah’. In a conversation with ‘ABP News’, Annu Kapoor said that by looking at the cover of the book, do not decide what is written in the book. Let the film be made and then after watching it, understand what the makers have tried to tell and explain.
