Both the parties will fight the local elections and the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to be held in 2024 together. In a joint press conference on Thursday, Andhra Pradesh BJP in-charge Sunil Deodhar announced the alliance and said, ‘Today is a historic day. We are announcing the alliance of BJP and Janasena Party.

Sunil Deodhar said, ‘We will fight together to end the casteism, dynasty, and corruption spread in the politics of the state. In a short span of time, Jaganmohan Reddy’s government has proved to be a failure on all fronts. The same was the case with Chandrababu Naidu’s government. In the times to come, there is no question of BJP having an alliance with the YSR Congress and Telugu Desam Party in the state.
