Breaking: Sushant Singh Rajput: Rhea Chakraborty arrested by NCB under NDPS Act

Mumbai: Bollywood actress and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty got arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 for the drug probe related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The actress is likely to be taken for the medical tests before being produced to court.
On Tuesday morning, Rhea Chakraborty lodged an FIR against Rajput’s two elder sisters Mitu Singh and Priyanka Singh for making “bogus medical prescription” for the late actor to drive him take the anxiety medication which cannot be legally prescribed on WhatsApp.
According to the sources, the 28- year old actress revealed that she used to organize drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput and also used them herself during the hours of questioning.
The NCB started its inquiries after reading the WhatsApp chats retrieved from Chakraborty’s phone. Rhea was first summoned by NCB on Sunday when the actress was mobbed by the media on her way to the NCB office in Mumbai for the questioning about the drug angle.
On the second day of questioning on Monday, the actor broke down during the questioning and admitted her crime by saying “Whatever I did, I did it for Sushant.”
Rhea Chakraborty’s younger brother Showik Chakraborty and Rajput’s ex- manager Samuel Miranda got arrested by NCB for carrying 59 grams of Marijuana.
NCB claimed that Dipesh Sawant, the staff member of Rajput’s house has collected and delivered more than 165 grams of marijuana between the month of March and June on the command of Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty.
Rhea Chakraborty was being investigated by three crime branches, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
