The first look and teaser for Nicole Kidman’s next film “Nine Perfect Strangers” have been unveiled.

Nine Perfect Strangers is a new thriller drama miniseries in the works. The drama stars Nicole Kidman in the lead role, and is based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, author of Nine Perfect Stranger and it will air on August 20, 2021 worldwide.

The production team is Big Little Lies. Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy feature in their debut movie together.

Melissa McCarthy, Luke Evans, Tiffany Boone, Bobby Cannavale, Melvin Gregg, Regina Hall, Manny Jacinto, Asher Keddie, Michael Shannon, Grace Van Patten, and Samara Weaving star in Nine Perfect Strangers. David E Kelley and John-Henry Butterworth co-wrote the series, and Jonathan Levine directed it.

The series follows nine stressed-out city people, however these nine strangers, on the other hand, have no idea what is about to happen to them as they struggle to find a better way of life and is set at a boutique wellness resort in Australia, which offers healing and transformation and go for a ten-day retreat, the resort’s director Masha, played by Kidman is their watchdog and a lady on a mission to re-energize their fatigued minds and bodies.

Kidman earned an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the drama The Hours as writer Virginia Woolf.

Her other Oscar nominations were for her performances as a courtesan in the musical Moulin Rouge! and emotionally challenged mothers in the plays Rabbit Hole and Lion.
