Super Man Hritik to play the role of math wizard Anand

Get ready to see your heart-throbbing actor Hrithik Roshan in a fresh new avatar. Here, the ‘Greek-God’ is all set to play the role of math genius Anand Kumar in the Vikas Bahl-directed biopic on the Super 30 founder.

Making sure he captures the true spirit of Kumar’s life, the biopic will witness the actor in a ‘nerd-look’ wearing a pair of cool glasses.

Doing their individual homework, the director-actor duo had also drawn together the relevant study material referring to the biopic.

Earlier the movie witnessed a tug-of-war between the two best friends of producers, Madhu Mantena and Priti Sinha with their respective favourites, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar.

Hritik also had met Anand Kumar at his Juhu residence when the latter visited Mumbai last month to film a special episode for Amitabh Bachchan’s game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Confirming that Hrithik will be slipping into his shoes, this biopic will essay the Patna-based Anand Kumar who in a strive to educate the poverty-ridden meritorious students to crack JEE, the entrance examination for the Indian Institute of Technology. The praiseworthy initiative by Anand was undertaken in 2002 to coach the handpicked troop of 30 brilliant under-privileged students.

The math wizard made what it seems to be impossible in a real-life when 18 students cracked the exam in the initial year elevating the count to 22 and 28 in 2004 and 2006 whereas, in 2008 and 2009, it was a catastrophe clean sweep. Now, Kumar’s Ramanujan School of Mathematics is competing on the international platform and is among the world’s four most innovative schools.

The 21st century Ramanujan has recently announced to expand his wing. Taking his initiative further, mother Jayanti Devi cooks meals for this bunch of young innovators.

Expressing how privileged he feels, director Vikas says, “Truth, they say, is stranger than fiction and so is Anand’s life story!”

Here, real life speaks more than fiction and thus our directors are going crazy to film real-life heroes
