The trailer of the much-awaited comedy-drama film ‘Pagglait’ was dropped today by Netflix.The trailer revisits the teaser which was released on Sanya’s birthday last month, reminding viewers of her character Sandhya who is unable to mourn the untimely death of her husband.
The film is slated for an OTT release on March 26, 2021.The film is written and directed by Umesh Bisht and also stars Sayani Gupta, Shruti Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, Sheeba Chaddha, Meghna Malik, and Rajesh Tailang.
Delivering into the life of a young widow, Pagglait promises a journey of self-discovery. The trailer shows Sandhya trying to find and build her own identity instead of mourning for her husband’s untimely death.
While the family prepares for the last rites and other post-funeral ceremonies, life seems normal for Sandhya.Her friend also rushes to console her but Sandhya’s attention was on the comments section of the social media post which announced her husband’s death and on mouth-watering serving of paani puri.
Her life takes a gradual turn when life insurance agents walk into her house and reveals that her husband has left behind Rs 50 lakhs under his wife’s name.
Now the family are busy scheming ways to keep their son’s money within the family itself and in the meantime, Sandhya has different plans. Sandhya wants to live life on her terms and explore the world in due process.

For the unversed Singer Arijit Singh has turned music composer for the first time in the film ‘Pagglait’.
On Tuesday, Sanya Malhotra shared the trailer with her fans and wrote “Pagglait on Netflix Iss Tarah ke family events bhi hote hai. Pagglait, premieres 26th March, only on @netflix_in
