After Manikarnika, Kangana will direct her own biopic

After Kangana’s great success of her directorial debut Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut is set to direct her own biopic.

“Yes it is true. My own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with full of negative people but a heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. It shows the people who never judged me but rather accepted me as the way I am”, she said in a statement.

According to the reports, the biopic will be written by Baahubali fame KV Vijayendra. Who also wrote Manikarnika. Kangana further added, “around 12 weeks ago, Vijayendra sir urged me to let him write a film based on my life. At first I was nervous but then I know that I trust him so have a green signal to him so that he can start with the project”.

Kangana made her debut in Bollywood through the movie Gangster which fetched her several best Debut awards.
