In an epic encounter, Devraj Sports Club emerged victorious against Noida Stadium on Monday in Devraj Sports Ground, Malakpur. Devraj Sports Club defeats Noida Stadium by a large margin of 376 runs.
After winning the toss, Devraj Sports Club opted to bat first and posted a mammoth total of 447/4 runs in 40 overs. Tanmay Singh made a record score of 264 runs, equalizing the highest individual score record in limited over cricket with India’s Vice-Captain Rohit Sharma. Tanmay Singh remain unbeaten and played the superb knock of 264 runs by smashing 47 boundaries and 2 huge sixes.
Meanwhile, For the Noida Stadium, Lakshay Gupta was the main pickup bowler as he scalped 2 wickets in regular intervals. However, Lakshay did not get any support from his teammates, and Devraj Sports Club continuously capitalized on the favourable batting conditions.
Chasing the mammoth total of 447 runs, Noida Stadium batsmen failed miserably and the team could only score 71/10 runs in 17.1 overs. Rehan Khan was the breakout bowler from the Devraj Sports Club side as he picked up four crucial wickets for 25 runs and ensured that the Opposition remain on backfoot.
