Former J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti released after 14 months of house arrest, said black judgement of 5th August 2019 still haunts!

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti were released from custody on Tuesday. Jammu and Kashmir administration spokesman Rohit Kansal gave this information. Mehbooba was detained in August last year after Article 370 was removed from Kashmir.

Mehbooba is released from custody after one year, two months and 9 days i.e. a total of 436 days later.

Mehbooba released 1 minute 23 seconds audio after her release. Said- ‘I am released today after more than a year. During this, the dark judgment of the dark day of August 5, 2019, kept attacking my heart and soul every moment. I have a feeling that this is the condition of all the people of Jammu and Kashmir. None of us can forget the robbery and dishonesty of that day.’

‘We all have to remember that on 5 August last year, the Delhi Durbar would have to take back the right which it had taken away from the non-Ioni, non-illegal, illegal. Along with that, we have to continue our struggle to continue the issue of Kashmir, due to which thousands of people of Jammu and Kashmir sacrificed their lives. I agree that this will not be easy at all. But I am sure that all of us will be encouraged and encouraged by this difficult path. While I have been released today, I wish that all the people of Jammu and Kashmir who are lodged in the jails of the mainland of the country should be released as soon as possible. ‘
