NASA Warns Of Radio Blackout On Earth As The Scientist Finds New 1,20,000 Km Wide Hole

Nasa has confirmed the appearance of a 75,000-mile-wide (1,20,701 km) hole on the Sun that could affect the Earth.

Named AR2665 by the American space agency, the hole can produce radiation storms on the Earth and affect our communication satellites. It can also lead to electricity shortages in some parts of our planet.

For those who want to see the hole can do so with the help of a powerful telescope that comes with a good solar filter.

Nasa said, “A new sunspot group has rotated into view and seems to be growing rather quickly. It is the first sunspot to appear after the sun was spotless for two days, and it is the only sunspot group on the sun at this moment. It could be the source for some solar flares, but it is too early to predict just what it will do.”

Such holes may appear like “freckles” on the Sun but their dark core is actually larger in size than the Earth.
