Akshay Kumar filed a Rs. 500 Cr. Defamation lawsuit against YouTuber who alleged that he helped Rhea escape.

Akshay Kumar sent a Rs. 500 Cr. defamation notice against a YouTuber named Rashid Siddiqui who mentioned the actor in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

Siddiqui was earlier arrested by Mumbai Police for spreading the fake news and dragging the name of Maharashtra CM Udhav Thakaray and his son Aditya Thakaray in the case.

According to Mid Day, the YouTuber said in his YouTube channel that Kumar has helped the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty to escape to Canada and also had secret meetings with Udhav Thakaray regarding Rajput’s death.

Reportedly, the 25 year old YouTuber was a civil engineer from Bihar and owns a YouTube channel named FF News.

Advocate Dharmendra Mishra of Shiv Sena’s legal department filed the case against the YouTuber and Mumbai police found out that he used the late actor’s death to increase his followers on social media and earn more money through the content related to SSR on his YouTube channel.

In the last four months, Rashid Siddiqui earned a shopping amount of Rs. 15 lakh and the number of subscribers of his channel increased from 1 lakh to 3.70 lakh.


The court has granted him the bail and asked him to corporate with the police.
