1. CM Kejriwal launches ‘Green Delhi’ App to address pollution complaints.
Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday has launched a mobile app called ‘Green Delhi’ which allows citizens to complaint against the air quality in the capital. these complaints later can be addressed to the government administration.
People can click pictures or make video of pollution causing activities like garbage burning, , industrial pollution, bursting of firecrackers, etc. and upload it on the app. The complaint will automatically forwarded to the pollution department.
2. Pak’s live Zoom meeting hacked with Hanuman Chalisa.
A live Zoom conference was being broadcasted on Facebook from Pakistan in which various professionals from other countries were also involved suddenly got hacked with Hanuman Chalisa and the songs of Lord Ram playing in the background.
The hackers were heard saying things like, “We are Indians and we will kick you.” and “We expected this to happen.”
3. American porn star Ron Jeremy charged with seven more sex crimes.
Former American pornographic actor Ron Jeremy on Wednesday charged for seven additional crimes of rape and sexual assault on 23 alleged victims, the Los Angeles District Attorney officer said.
The 67 year old porn star who was ranked number 1 by AVN in ‘Top 50 Porn Stars of All Time’ list was earlier charged in June for raping three women and sexually assaulting a fourth. The alleged victim’s age range from 15 to 54.
Jeremy was pleaded not- guilty on Wednesday from the court to the new charges.
Jeremy has now a total number of 11 charges of rape, 8 of sexual battery and 16 other sexual offences. If proven guilty, he will sentenced 330 years of life imprisonment.
4. Three people killed with knife at a church in France.
A woman got beheaded and three other killed by a man with a knife who was shouting “Allahu Akbar” (God is the Greatest) during the suspected terrorist incident at Notre Dame church in the city of Nice in France.
Nice’s mayor Christian Etrosi called this incident a terrorist attack on his Twitter handle.
One of the victims killed i the church is reportedly the church warden.
The attacker was chanting “Allahu Akbar” even after he had been detained by the police.
