Iran military statement says, the Ukrainian jetliner was “unintentionally” shot down.

The Ukrainian aircraft which crashed this week in Iran had flown close to sensitive military site belonging to Revolutionary guards and was shot down “unintentionally”, due to human error, the Iranian military said on Saturday The judicial parties would be referred to judicial department and the military will be held accountable, said the statement. Iran foreign minister Javad Zarif on Twitter said: “Human error at time of crises caused by US adventurism led to disaster.”
All 176 people on the aircraft were killed in the crash.

The Iranian military statement expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
