Chadwick Boseman was a famous American actor and producer. He was diagnosed with Colon cancer in the year 2016.
Boseman got his first television role in 2003, in an episode of Third Watch. That same year, Boseman portrayed Reggie Montgomery in the daytime soap opera All My Children, but stated that he was fired after voicing concerns to producers about racist stereotypes in the script; the role was subsequently re-cast, with Boseman’s future Black Panther co-star Michael B. Jordan assuming the role.
Boseman had his first starring role in the 2013 film 42, in which he portrayed baseball pioneer and star, Jackie Robinson. He had been directing an off-Broadway play in East Village when he auditioned for the role and was considering giving up acting and pursuing directing full-time at the time.
But unfortunately, his cancer reached stage four before the year 2020! He never spoke publicly about his Disease. He wanted to complete his work side by side when his treatment was going on! He completed films like Marshall, Da 5 bloods, Black Bottoms, and others.
He was a true fighter! Who is no longer with us now!
He died due to some complications of colon cancer in his home sitting beside his family.
His family tweeted :
“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
Everyone is in grief for the demise of the actor.
He left us too soon !
Rest In peace🙏
