The boldness queen Jacqueline Fernandez took to Instagram to share the teaser of the song, Ek Do Teen, from Baaghi 2 and well, the question here is that will she be able to match up to level of the dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit.

Jacqueline Fernandez is all set to recreate Madhuri Dixit-Nene’s foot-tapping Ek Do Teen song from the 1988 film Tezaab. The new version will feature in the upcoming action-film Baaghi 2. Jacqueline took to Instagram to share the teaser of the song and well, the question here is that will she be able to match up to level of the dancing queen, Madhuri.
She captioned the video as, “A forever-favourite!! The countdown begins #EkDoTeen #SajidNadiadwala #Baaghi2onMarch30 @tigerjackieshroff @DishaPatani @khan_ahmedasas @ganeshacharyaa @Nadiadwalagrandson @FoxStarHindi @tseries.official.”

Talking about Baaghi 2, the film is directed by Ahmed Khan and is slated to release on March 30, 2018.
Earlier, when Jacqueline was asked if there was any pressure when she first heard that she was going to recreate Madhuri’s iconic song, she said, “I think that was my first stress that how can we recreate something so iconic like ‘is it even possible’. It made a lot easier for me when I understood that it’s not possible, we are not trying to match up to what Madhuri Dixit and Saroj (Khan) Ji did.”
She further said, “We are honestly here as big fans of their work and more than anything, this is honestly a tribute to the amazing, iconic number that they gave to us. For me as an actress, this is such an honour and a lot of my actress friends were like, ‘we are so jealous that you doing ‘Ek do teen’. So for any girl, this would be a dream song to do.”
Ahmed Khan, who is directing the film, said in a statement, “I want the same feel of the earlier song that still looms large on everyone’s mind and also the same vibe, with the crowds chanting ‘Mohini, Mohini’ as Madhuri takes the stage.”
