Akshay Kumar Returns To Playing Villain In Never Seen Before Avatar For 2.0

This weekend has been about grandeur in cinema and phenomenal tailers to blockbuster films. Shah Rukh Khan released the trailer of his most-awaited film, Zero.

After wowing the audience as Bauua Singh, Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar just dropped the trailer of the highly anticipated film, 2.0 along with megastar Rajinikanth. Amidst fanfare and cheers, Akki landed in Chennai for the trailer release. The trailer is what you expected but probably and a bigger and better scale.

While it’s always a delight to see Rajinikanth in his phenomenal, iconic form, it’s Khiladi Kumar’s never seen before avatar that has blown our minds. Whether it’s his expressions or his deadly gaze, Akki as the antagonist will send shivers down your spine. As the antagonist, Akki addresses a pressing problem with today’s generation, the dependency of mobile phones.

Moreover, it’s been a while since the audience has seen the superstar in a negative role. After essaying the role of the quintessential baddie in Ajnabee, Akki has returned to play the villain after 16 years. Speaking to MensXP, the Housefull actor revealed, “It’s great to be a part of this kind of a film.

It’s been long since I have done a negative role. I played a negative role long back, in a film called Ajnabee. And that’s why I did it. I choose a role very fast. I just listen to it. I don’t have ten people of my company. I just look at it, feel good…good feeling comes, and I choose it. That’s it.”
