On Thursday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Central Election Committee Meeting (CEC) held at the party headquarters in Delhi. The meeting mainly focused on the Lok Sabha election seats across approximately 17 states. As per the meeting discussion were made regarding over 155 seats, the full details of which are expected to release soon. The dates of the following Lok Sabha elections 2024 can be announced in March this month.

However, after the BJP’s Central Election Committee, the first list of candidates is yet to be released. In the candidate list, the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah can be announced.

Meanwhile, the following names coming out are as follows are PM Narendra Modi from Varanasi, Rajnath Singh from Lucknow, K. Annamalai from Tamil Nadu, Sarbananda Sonowal from Dibrugarh, Assam, V. Muraleedharan from Thiruvananthapuram, and Manoj Tiwari from North East Delhi. Whereas, there is a possibility of many reversals in this list.

Amidst a flurry of speculation, attention is drawn to the forthcoming announcement of BJP’s candidate list, with sources suggesting that over 100 names could feature in the initial release. The discourse surrounding this list is rife with discussions on accommodating new faces while contemplating the reduction of tickets for several incumbent MPs.

Furthermore, deliberations extend to the possibility of fielding Rajya Sabha MPs and Union Ministers in the Lok Sabha elections. However, amidst the anticipation, there are murmurs of significant upheavals expected within this candidate roster.

In a notable development, there’s anticipation regarding the fate of Pragya Singh Thakur’s ticket, the current MP from Bhopal Lok Sabha seat. Speculation suggests that BJP might make an unexpected move for this constituency, with former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan emerging as a potential candidate.

Meanwhile, the landscape in Delhi politics also appears poised for change. There are conjectures about the potential withdrawal of tickets from former Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan in Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat. Similarly, the future of former cricketer Gautam Gambhir’s ticket from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat is also under scrutiny.

Adding to the intrigue, there’s talk of Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Guna seat in Madhya Pradesh. Should Scindia decide to run from Guna, it could spell the end of BJP MP KP Yadav’s tenure from this constituency. Nonetheless, Yadav might find himself nominated from another constituency in a strategic reshuffling.
