Yash Starrer KGF 2 Set The Bar High, Joins 1000 Crore Club

April 30, 2022 (New Delhi): Yash Starrer Kannada Movie, KGF 2 continues to intrigue the audiences at the ticket counters, it seems. After the thunderous success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR this year, Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2 has swept the Box Office with tremendous numbers. It is considered as one of the most prestigious movie after Aamir Khan’s Dangal, Rajamouli’s Bahubali and RRR – as the 4th Indian film to earn Rs 1000 crore globally.

Earlier people were outspoken on “pan-Indian films” lately, based on the success of RRR and KGF: Chapter 2, films that were released in Hindi as well as their original languages – Telugu and Kannada respectively. The records of these South films have changed the perception that Bollywood is the only giant in India. Both RRR and KGF: Chapter 2 unapologetically aim to entertain; both also include Bollywood actors in their cast – Alia Bhatt co-stars in RRR, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in KGF 2. Actor Nawazuddin also said, “Audiences have embraced the masala content of these films and that’s not something to celebrate.”

‘KGF 2’, is a Kannada film originally, will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages respectively. The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Balakrishna, Anant Nag, Malavika Avinash, Saran Shakthi, and achyuth.
