Good news for the Pawan Kalyan fans! After a long wait, the trailer of the much anticipated Tollywood movie Vakeel Saab starring Power star Pawan Kalyan in the lead was released on Monday.

Producer Boney Kapoor on Monday released the much-awaited trailer with the caption “Ultimately Justice will win when you’ve the right person on your side ”

While the teaser of the courtroom drama focused on the Power Star kicking some serious ass in the metro train and raising his voice in the court, the trailer delves deep into the plot and promises a high voltage drama film.

The trailer finally brings the three key female characters to the spotlight. Until now, the marketing campaign for the film primarily focused on the male lead Pawan Kalyan so much that it led to speculations that the filmmakers may have changed the very DNA of the film which was originally envisioned as a female-centric narration about the subject of consent.

For the unversed Vakeel Saab is the official Telegu remake of director Aniruddha Roy Choudhury’s Hit Hindi film, Pink.

Unlike the Hindi and Tamil versions, the trailer of Vakeel Saab starts with the opponent lawyer Nandha played by Prakash Raj asking Nivetha on the convict stand if she is a virgin.

The following moments of the trailer show how the happy lives of three young girls were tormented by an incident that takes place at a night party.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan makes his entry as a world-weary lawyer and after patiently listening to the accusations he unleashes his interrogation. Towards the end of the promo, the 49-year-old actor can be seen slaying it in a couple of action episodes and asking the accused male in the court whether he is a virgin.

Vakeel Saab is directed by Venu Sriram, features Prakash Raj. It was slated for May 2020 release but it couldn’t due to the Coronavirus led lockdown. Vakeel Saab will now release in theatres on April 9.
