The White Tiger Trailer: Priyanka Chopra, Rajkummar Rao, and Adarsh Gourav’s Film is a dark satire on India’s class discrimination

The official trailer of Netflix’s highly anticipated film ‘ The White Tiger’ featuring Priyanka Chopra, Rajkummar Rao, and Adarsh Gourav has been released on Monday.
The trailer gives us the gist of how the film is going to unfold and it depicts the poignant class divide in Indian society.
Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao play the roles of a rich married couple, who have been living with their family in India and are getting used to the class divide here after returning from the US for their business.
Adarsh is seen in the role of their driver (Balram Halwai) who uses his wit and cunning talent to escape from poverty and control his fate to become an entrepreneur.
The trailer starts with Balram Halwai narrating his journey and his dreams about becoming a rich and successful entrepreneur. He wishes to work for Ashok (Rajkummar Rao) but is continuously reminded of his social status because of the class divide. He has been trained technicians be a servant his whole life and his faithfulness even made him indispensable to his master’s but when his masters try to trap him in a road accident to save themselves, he rebels and ventures out on his own to become a businessman.
The White Tiger is director Ramin Bahrain’s adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker Prize-winning debut novel of the same name. The film revolves around the ugly prevalent class discrimination in India. The film will release on January 22 on Netflix.
