Sidhu Moosewala’s 58-Year-Old Mother Expecting Again, Baby Due in March!
In a touching turn of events, the parents of late Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala are expecting the birth of another child. According to family sources, Sidhu’s mother, Charan Singh, has had IVF therapy and is expecting a new baby in March. Sidhu, the couple’s only child, unfortunately died in May 2022.
In a subtle twist, truths about Sidhu Moosewala’s familial relationships emerge. Sidhu’s mother, Charan Singh, who is now 58, earlier stated her age as 56 in the 2022 election affidavit for her son’s candidature in Mansa. This disparity provides an element of mystery. Charan Singh’s age adjustment raises issues and highlights the complications within the Moosewala family, who are now receiving medical attention. The evolving narrative emphasises the complexities of intimate details, creating a story that goes beyond popular impression of the late Punjabi musician’s family.
Sidhu Moosewala’s Tragic Demise
Tragedy struck in May 2022 as Sidhu Moosewala succumbed to a fatal shooting in Punjab’s Mansa district. The sad occurrence occurred when six assailants assaulted him when he was walking through Jawaharke village in Mansa with his cousin and companion, which is only 10 kilometres from his hometown of Moosa. The Punjab Police Special Investigation Team (SIT) is aggressively investigating Moosewala’s death. The SIT has already submitted a chargesheet against 32 people, including known criminals Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
In Mansa, a candle march was held in remembrance of Sidhu. The late singer’s followers and friends came in great numbers in Moosa hamlet to take part in the candle march to demand “justice” for him. Sidhu’s mother joined the march as well. The community offered prayers in a gurdwara at Jawahar Ke village in memory of the late singer.
Diljit Mourns Tragic Losses
In 2022, Diljit Dosanjh discussed Moosewala’s parents and how they must be grieving following their son’s death. He also discussed how artists have been slain in the past. However, he criticised the government for their ‘nalayaki’.
Diljit discussed the deaths of Moosewala and Deep Sidhu (who died in a vehicle accident) in an interview with Film Companion. “Each of them worked hard. I do not believe an artist can do anything wrong to anyone; I am speaking from personal experience. I do not agree with it. There could be nothing between him and someone else. So, why would someone kill someone else? This is an extremely terrible situation. Even talking about it is tough. Consider this: you have one child, and he dies. How would his father and mother deal with it? You can’t imagine what they’re going through; only they know,” he remarked.
