The so-called “thief” is actually the girl’s father or a relative, seemingly pulling this stunt to teach her a lesson about the dangers of phone theft. Even the girl’s mother seems to be recording the video, and the man can be seen smiling while snatching the phone, suggesting it was a deliberate act. The other child in the video remains calm, not calling for help, as she clearly knows the man.
Despite its authenticity being questioned, the video has ignited a wave of reactions.
