She Wings and National Commission for Women Host Successful Women’s Health Conference
New Delhi, 28 May 2024* — In a significant stride towards women’s health and empowerment, She Wings, in partnership with the National Commission for Women (NCW), held a noteworthy event titled “From Menstruation to Menopause” at the NCW headquarters.

The conference commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the journey of awareness and empowerment for women across various life stages.The event was inaugurated by Mrs.
Rekha Sharma, the Honorable Chairperson of the NCW, who delivered a powerful keynote speech. Mrs. Sharma underscored the necessity of raising awareness and building robust support systems for women’s health issues, spanning from menstruation to menopause.
She stressed the ongoing need for advocacy and education to dismantle the stigmas associated with women’s health.Supporting the initiative, Ms. Meenakshi Singh, IRS, highlighted the importance of women’s education and economic independence. “We support women’s education and economic independence.
From small businesses to leading companies, women are everywhere. We must educate and empower women for the future,” she said.Madan Mohit Bhardwaj, the founder of She Wings, also spoke at the event, emphasizing the link between health and productivity. “A woman is more productive when she is in good health.
Our effort is ‘Healthy Woman, Healthy Family.’ On this Menstrual Hygiene Day, our theme is ‘Together for a Period-Friendly World,'” he stated.Adding a celebratory touch to the conference was a vibrant singing competition organized by the Aditya Group.
This competition brought a sense of joy and unity to the event, with participants showcasing their talents and fostering a strong sense of community.
An award ceremony followed the competition, honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to promoting women’s health and well-being. The ceremony also recognized the winners of the singing competition.
Among the notable attendees who shared their insights were Priyanka Chaudhary Raina, Dr. Sabhyata Gupta, Dr. Upasana Arora, and Dr. Deepali Bhardwaj, along with other doctors and women associated with the commission.
