Shahid Kapoor starer Kabir Singh makes the biggest opening of ₹ 20 crores on Day 1
Right after ‘R Rajkumar’ Shahid Kapoor has geared up his performance to top level. In last five year he has given hit films like Haider, Udta Punjab, Padmavat, Batti Gul Metre Chalu and ongoing theatre hit Kabir Singh. His current release Kabir Singh has created a landmark of ₹20 crores on day 1 release. This is the highest earning by any movie in 2019 released on non-holiday occasion.
Kabir Singh has left behind Padamat, that was released on non-holiday occasion and made 19 crores on day 1 of its release. Uri, Total Dhamal, LukaChuppi, Badla, De De Pyar De, and Avengers End Game are also the movie released on non-holiday weekends but commercially successful on box office.
