“Salman Khan Case: Mumbai Police Arrest Both Suspects Involved in Firing Outside Actor’s Home in Bhuj, Gujarat”
In a significant development concerning the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan’s home in Bandra, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch announced on Tuesday that they have successfully apprehended two suspects from Bhuj, Gujarat. The arrested individuals have been identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), both hailing from Bihar’s West Champaran. Sources within the Crime Branch revealed that the accused have a history of criminal activities, including cases of theft and chain snatching.
The operation to capture the suspects was carried out jointly with local authorities in Bhuj. The statement released by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch credited the efforts of various law enforcement personnel, including Inspector General of Police Shri Chirag Kordia Saheb and Deputy Inspector General of Police Shri Mahendria Saheb. The press release detailed the coordinated efforts of officers such as Police Inspector SN Chudasma, ASI Jaideep Singh Jhala, along with several others, leading to the successful arrest of the suspects in the Nakhtrana Taluka area.
Following their apprehension, the accused were brought to the Dayapar Police Station for legal procedures. Subsequently, custody of both individuals was transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch for further investigation into the case. Earlier, the Mumbai Police had circulated pictures and CCTV footage of the two suspects involved in the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence.
The case, initially registered by the Bandra Police under Section 307 of the IPC and Arms Act, has been transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch for further inquiry. Over ten teams from the Mumbai Crime Branch have been engaged in the investigation since the incident occurred.
The shooting incident took place on a Sunday morning when two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle fired four rounds outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra before fleeing the scene. The incident prompted heightened security measures around the actor’s residence, with a thorough search launched to locate the perpetrators.
Despite the unsettling incident, Salman Khan was observed leaving his residence on Monday, presumably to resume his work commitments. Stepping out amid tight security arrangements, the actor demonstrated resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
