Raqesh Bapat reacts on Shamita Shetty’s vow to get married this year
Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty’s love blossomed on Karan Johar- hosted reality show Bigg Boss OTT, where they both met for the first time. After the show got ended, both made their relationship official and were spotted together on several dinner dates. Raqesh and Shamita, who are fondly referred to as ‘ShaRa’ by their fans, have been getting stronger with their relationship. In a recent interview, Bapat opened up about their wedding plans and stated that it is important for them to spend time as they haven’t got much time to spend together to gauge things.
While speaking to media reporters, the Maryada actor said, “Whatever decision is taken, it will be taken by both of us and with a clear mind. It is important that we spend time together because I agree with her that we haven’t got much time to spend together to gauge things. So, let’s hope for the best.”Talking about Shamita being linked to her fellow Bigg Boss 15 contestant Karan Kundrra, Raqesh said he ‘takes it in humour’. He added that when two people are secure in a relationship, these things don’t really matter. As he understands that house, he takes it as a joke and that such things do not bother him.”
Further, the actor mentioned that he is proud of Shamita for how she has conducted herself on the show. “I have always said that Shamita is a woman of substance. She is very transparent. After a long time, I have met someone who is so clear about things. She’s doing very well in the Bigg Boss house. She’s real. I am very proud of her for the way she’s handling things. For me, she is the winner,” Raqesh was quoted saying.
For the unversed, Raqesh Bapat was earlier married to Ridhi Dogra. The duo had tied the knot on May 29, 2011. However, Raqesh and Ridhi had parted ways in 2019.Meanwhile, Shamita Shetty is currently locked inside Bigg Boss 15 house and is amongst the top contenders for the BB15 trophy. The reality show will have its grand finale this weekend.
