Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty to collaborate again for ‘Cirkus’, a screen adaptation of William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty are all set to unite again for their third collaboration -Cirkus.
Cirkus boasts of a huge star cast and will be Rohit’s take on the classic Shakespearean play,’The Comedy of errors’ and the film will be a remake of Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verna’s retro film Angoor.
Produced and directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie will be presented by Bhushan Kumar and Reliance Entertainment. It will also star Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Siddharth Jadav, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Ashwini Kalsekar, and many more.
Cirkus is set to go on floors next month and will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa. The film is scheduled to release by the end of 2021.
This will be Ranveer’s second stint with Rohit Shetty, who had earlier worked with him in Simmba, Ranveer also had a cameo in Sooryavanshi, Rohit’s upcoming film.
It is for the first time that Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde will team up with the Singham director.
Ranveer also has a social comedy, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, lined up for release. Directed by newcomer Divyang Thakkar, it stars Ranveer in the title role of a Gujarati man who believes in equal rights between males and females in society. It also stars Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah.
