Ranbir Kapoor apologises for his comment about pregnant Alia Bhatt

23 August, 2022 (New Delhi): Ranbir Kapoor had made a comment on wife Alia Bhatt’s pregnant body during a live chat, due to which he had to face a lot of trolling on social media. Now Ranbir Kapoor’s reaction has come to the fore regarding this comment. Ranbir Kapoor has apologized to the fans for his statement.

Ranbir’s apology

During a media interaction, Ranbir was asked if he would like to clarify his remarks as people are angry with him. He immediately apologized and also admitted that he had a bad sense of humour. Ranbir said, “Yes, of course. First of all, I love my wife for everything I have in my life. And what happened to that, I think it’s a joke that didn’t turn out to be funny. I told someone I really want to apologize if I have hurt you. It was not my intention. So I want to apologize to those who got offended. I spoke to Alia about it and she really laughed it off and she didn’t mind . But my sense of humor is very bad and sometimes it falls on my own face. So I am sorry if I have hurt anyone about it.”

How Alia Bhatt reacted to Ranbir Kapoor’s comment?

During a live session on YouTube, Ranbir body shamed Alia as he told her that he was a ‘fellow’ looking at her baby bump. During the promotional live chat, Alia said about the promotion that if you are asking this question that why are we not fellows (spread) everywhere, then we have attention and we will do that too…” Meanwhile Ranbir interrupted saying did, “I can see that someone else is failing.” Alia is shocked to hear this answer of Ranbir and looks at her baby bump, and then looks at Ranbir in surprise.

Let us tell you that Alia and Ranbir are ready to welcome their first child soon. They got married in April this year. On the work front, the two will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in ‘Brahmastra’. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. The film is scheduled to release on 9 September.
