Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann to get married for second time tomorrow

July 6, 2022 (New Delhi): Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is going to get married for the second time on Thursday. He is going to marry Dr Gurpreet Kaur. The wedding rituals will be held at the CM House in Chandigarh. Bhagwant Mann, 48, was divorced from his first wife Inderpreet Kaur in 2015. After which the wife went to America with the children.
The Gurpreet Kaur hails from Pehowa, Haryana. There are 3 sisters in her family. In 2013 Gurpreet Kaur joined the Mulana Medical College, Ambala. She completed his medical studies in 2017. In 2019, she met Bhagwant Mann. Bhagwant Mann was then the Lok Sabha MP from Sangrur. After this, she continued to participate in special programs of CM Mann. Gurpreet Kaur was also present at the swearing-in ceremony of the post of CM.
The family has chosen Dr. Gurpreet Kaur for CM Mann. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is already acquainted with Mann’s sister Manpreet Kaur. She had been a frequent traveler in the family. Mann’s sister Manpreet and Gurpreet have also been shopping together several times. Maan’s mother Harpal Kaur and sister Manpreet Kaur fixed this relationship. At the behest of the family, CM Mann consented to the marriage.
Bhagwant Mann has been a successful comedian of Punjab. He was married to Inderpreet Kaur. Bhagwant Mann came to politics in 2012. He joined Manpreet Badal’s ‘Punjab People’s Party.’ In 2012, he contested from Lehragaga, but lost. However, in 2014, he joined the ‘Aam Aadmi Party.’ He got a ticket from Sangrur. Then his wife Inderpreet Kaur also campaigned. However, after becoming an MP, Mann’s relationship with his wife deteriorated. Mann himself also mentioned about this that he was not able to give time to the family.
Earlier, Bhagwant Mann had said about his divorce that he had to choose between family or Punjab. However, he chose Punjab. Mann had said about this in Punjabi, ‘Jo latkiyan si chiran to woh solution ho gaya, court ch eh decision kal ho gaya, ek pase si family, dujhe pase si Punjab, main taab yaaron punjab de wal ho gaya’ ( The pending issue was resolved by the court. It was decided by the court. I had to choose one of the two families. I chose Punjab.)
However, he also praised his son Dilshan and daughter Seerat. Mann also praised his first wife for raising children very well.
Arvind Kejriwal will also attend the wedding of Bhagwant Mann along with his family. The wedding preparations have been started at the CM House in Chandigarh. Raghav Chadha is performing the responsibility of arrangement. Only selected family members have been invited to the function. Only 20 to 25 people will participate in this ceremony.
