Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas’ Baby Girl’s Name Revealed? Read To Know Inside!
April 21,2022(New Delhi): Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced earlier this year that the couple welcomed their first child together through surrogacy. Although both of them did not confirm in their announcement whether they had a son or a daughter, but it was later revealed that both have become parents to a baby girl. Three months after welcoming the little girl, TMZ has now reported their daughter’s name.
According to TMZ, who allegedly obtained the birth certificate of Priyanka and Nick’s child and the name mentioned in that certificate is – Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. The document states that Malti was born just after 8 p.m. on January 15 in San Diego, California, while the couple is yet to confirm the name of the child, it seems that the name is a common one for both, may have special meaning. The couple continues to honor both their traditions with their daughter’s name and therefore have chosen a Hindu name as well as a middle name, Mary.
On January 22, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced the news on Instagram. Their posts read, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
Priyanka recently chatted with Lilly Singh about her new book ‘Be a Triangle: How I Went from Being Lost to Getting My Life’ about being a new parent. Priyanka said, “As a new parent right now, I keep thinking about that I will never be imposing my desires, fears, my upbringing on to my child. I have always believed that children come through you not from you. There is no belief like this is my child and I will shape everything. They come through you to find and build their own life. Recognising that really helped me, my parents were very non-judgemental in a certain way.”
Let us tell you that even though Priyanka and Nick had announced the birth of the baby girl on January 22, but according to the reports, the baby girl was born 12 weeks before this date. According to media reports, the daughter of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas was born in the 27th week. The baby was to be born in April but due to pre-mature delivery, the child was kept in the hospital for the time being.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is waiting for Jim Strouse’s film It’s All Coming Back to Me to be released. Sam Heughan, Celine Dion, Russell Tovey, Steve Oram, Omid Djalili, Sofia Barclay, Lydia West, Arinzé Kene, and Celia Imrie also star in the film.
