Popular series, Game of Thrones wins Outstanding Drama at Emmy Awards 2019
Its 71st Primetime Emmys! Television’s biggest awards night kicked off Sunday at 5 p.m. PT in LA. The biggest win of the night went to, yes, Game of Thrones. The show took home outstanding drama series, plus Peter Dinklage won best supporting actor in a drama.
Also, Emilia Clark won Outstanding Lead Actress in a drama series. Game of Thrones still got its recognition, however, as a portion of its massive cast and crew took the stage for the night’s biggest honour. Given all the fire and ice, dragons and long shoots, “it is amazing that all of you are still alive”, said co-showrunner DB Weiss. “I can’t believe we finished it.”
