Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, who had been ruling the silver screens for nearly two decades adds another milestone in her career. Yes you read it right! Kareena Kapoor has added another feather to her cap as she turns producer for the very first time alongside Ekta Kapoor for a gritty thriller film, which will be helmed by Hansal Mehta.
The yet-to-be-titled thriller film will mark Kareena Kapoor’s first film as a producer and first venture as an actress following the birth of her second son Jeh Ali Khan. The thriller is reportedly inspired by a real-life incident in the UK
Excited about her new venture, Kareena Kapoor said “Very honoured and excited to work as a producer on this film with Ekta whom my family has known for years and of course to be directed by Hansal for the first time. I am a huge fan of Hansal’s films and to be working with him for the first time will be special. There are a lot of firsts on this film and I cannot wait to begin this journey.”

Hansal Mehta, who is excited to work with Ekta and Kareena as producers of the film, said, “Our aim is to create a gripping thriller and moody thriller with Kareena playing a character that I hope will do justice to her talent as an actor.”
For the unversed on Monday, Kareena Kapoor had launched her book ‘Pregnancy Bible’ in an Instagram live session with Karan Johar. In her first book ‘Pregnancy Bible’, Bebo has recorded her experience with childbirth during both her sons Taimur and Jeh.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, alongside Aamir Khan. Meanwhile, Hansal Mehta recently announced his next film with Kartik Aaryan named Captain India.
