1. PM Modi’s Varanasi office put up on sale worth Rs. 7.5 Crore, 4 arrested.

Four people have been held for putting PM Narendra Modi’s Varanasi office on online sale on OLX for Rs. 7.5 Crore.

The OLX ad, which cited the government property as 6,500 sq ft villa with four rooms and four bathrooms. Those who are arrested are now being interrogated, said police.

2. Seventeen GHMC officials including Mayor bought 17 latest iPhones at Rs. 27 Lakh.

Mayor and sixteen other officials of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Coorporation (GHMC) have bought 17 pieces of brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max (512 GB) for themselves at the cost of ₹27 lakh. The standing committee has now approved the purchase of these items after a meeting which was held this week. The term of these members end in February 2021.

3. US lists China and Russia as the main rivals in new maritime strategy.

The US has warned that its Navy will adopt a more ‘assertive’ approach to China and Russia, according to the country’s new maritime strategy, which says that actions taken in the next decade will determine power dynamics for the rest of the century.

4. Over 344 abducted boys released from Nigerian boarding school: released.

More than 300 boys who got kidnapped from a boarding school in Nigeria last week are now been freed, said Amino Bello Masari who is a State Governor of Katsina. Masari added that the 344 boys whose abduction was claimed by Boko Haram, have been released and are in a good condition.

“I think… We have recovered most of the boys.” Masari said further.
