WHAT! Mass SUICIDE If Sunny Leone Performs In Bengaluru On New Year’s Eve

Sunny Leone has found herself stuck in an extremely awkward situation. As absurd as it may sound, but a certain political group from Karnataka have threatened that they will commit a mass suicide if Sunny performs in Bengaluru on New Year’s Eve.

Well yes, the members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene have protested Sunny Leone’s performance which is scheduled to happen on the New Year’s Eve. According to them, Sunny Leone’s performance could prove to be a threat to their culture but if she wears a saree and performs, they will watch the performance.

Unbelievable, isn’t it?

Harish, the leader of the protesters, told a leading daily, “We are against Sunny wearing short clothes. If she wears saree and takes part in the event, even we’ll go watch her. Sunny doesn’t have a good past. We shouldn’t be encouraging such people. We will not hesitate to commit suicide on December 31.”

Members of a fringe group in Karnataka have launched massive protests in Bengaluru on Friday against an upcoming event in the city where Bollywood actor Sunny Leone is due to perform on New Year’s Eve.

The Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene, which is the youth wing of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, while setting fire to posters of the actor said that refusal to comply with their demand may result in “mass suicide” as a form of protest.

On the other hand, the organiser of the show has issued a statement saying the New Year party is a family affair. “This is a family-type programme with Sunny dancing on a Kannada song, and I, being a Kannadiga, have kept the programme’s standard based on the Bengaluru culture itself. Even though Sunny got a lot of events that offered her more money, she rejected those and agreed to come to Bengaluru since Bengaluru and Hyderabad are her favourite places. I don’t know what the protestors are expecting or what they think; this is a family show where the culture of the state won’t be disturbed,’’ said the organiser.
