Cricketer Krunal Pandya is all set to marry girlfriend Pankhuri Sharma on December 27 and the all-rounder has posted adorable pre-wedding pictures on his Instagram account.

He wrote, “Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her! Ecstatic • Blessed • Thankful.” Krunal has become a good household name in the Indian Premier League for his franchise side Mumbai Indians. Krunal is the elder brother of India all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

Krunal met Pankhuri at a common gathering two years ago and the two eventually started dating. ” “She is a friend of my friend. We met at a common gathering two years ago and developed a liking for each other. We both are of same age and get along a lot. What I like about her is her simplicity and supportive nature,” he told in November.

Krunal was part of the Mumbai Indians team that won this year’s IPL title. He was awarded man-of-the-match in the final for his 38-ball 47 against Rising Pune Supergiant – a match Mumbai won by one run.

“Well, I proposed her for marriage after our team Mumbai Indians became champions in the IPL this year. I was awarded man of the match in the finals and I thought it was the right time,” he said.

Krunal Pandya had earlier said that he would tie the knot with Pankhuri in December. “We will marry in a ceremony attended by family members and close relatives. On the same evening, a reception will be organized. I am very happy that I am marrying a girl who is more like a friend and understands me,” Krunal was quoted.

Cricket dominated the theme of the pre-wedding shoot. Krunal posted another picture on similar lines and captioned, “And Krunal gets bowled! @pankhuriisharma.”

The left-hand all-rounder Krunal Pandya considers Pankhuri as his “ultimate guide” and the Mumbai Indians player didn’t hesitate to post this on social media as he wrote, “My Ultimate Guide @pankhuriisharma.”
