Kartik Aaryan to take Akshay Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise

Kartik Aaryan has stepped into the Akshay Kumar Bhool Bhulaiyaa. After bagging Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal and Mudassar Aziz’s Pati Patni Aur Woh, Kartik will now be seen in the sequel to the 2007 horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Kartik shared his first look poster of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on Instagram, Clad in a saffron kurta-pyjama with a Trishul in his hand, he is seen with his back facing the camera. Kartik wrote, “Ghostbuster is all set to enter Hare Ram Hare Ram Hare Krishna Hare Ram #Bhoolbhulaiyaa2”

Talking about his collaboration with Bhushan Kumar for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik told Mumbai Mirror, “I’m looking forward to collaborating with Bhushanji again. Bhool Bhulaiyaa has always been one of my favourite comedic supernatural thriller films and now being part of BB2 makes me happy, especially because I’ve been a big fan of Akshay Kumar sir and it’s a great responsibility to take his franchise forward. It’s a hilarious script and Anees sir has taken it to another level. I’m also looking forward to working with Murad Bhai.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a comedy psychological-thriller which released in 2007, Directed by Priyadarshan. The film revolved around Siddharth and Avni, who move back to India from the US and start living in the former’s palatial home with his extended family.
