He has not forgotten even today. For the first time, Karan spoke about his experience during that time on his show, Koffee With Karan 7. He told how he had to go through questions during the marriage.

Karan Johar gave the example of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s marriage and said that when Vicky and Katrina were getting married, it was a very embarrassing time for me. There had come a time when people started complaining to me that why didn’t I tell them? You are in a marriage, yet you are not telling us, et cetera. I was ashamed to admit that I was not invited. When I got married, I got both sympathy and suspicion. People were asking why I was not called. All is well with you guys, isn’t it?
