Kapil Sharma hilariously reveals details about his meeting with former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Kapil Sharma is a successful stand-up comedian, Manmohan Singh has been a successful economist and also the Prime Minister of India for 10 years. However, when it comes to education, both Kapil and Manmohan studied at the same college – Hindu College, Amritsar, Punjab. Kapil Sharma reveals this fact and also about his meeting with ex-Prime Minister of India on his Netflix show, Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet.

In his trademark humour, Kapil Sharma said, “Manmohan Singh ji ussi college se padhe hai jahan se main padha hoon.” He then corrected and said, “Woh jis college mein padhe hai, main bhi wahan pada raha”!

 Kapil then told the audience that in February 2019, he got the golden chance of meeting Manmohan. If you thought Kapil Sharma would get serious at this juncture while describing his meeting, you are mistaken. Kapil revealed that since it was winter time, Dr Singh ordered a plate full of revdi, a sweet dish. Manmohan couldn’t control and he took some pieces of revdi in his fist.

Kapil Sharma then revealed that Manmohan Singh’s wife Gursharan Kaur saw what the ex-PM did and stopped him from consuming the sweet, for health reasons. Kapil then showed a picture of him meeting Manmohan Singh. Manmohan seems in an animated discussion in the snap and Kapil claimed, jokingly, that he was discussing about how many revdi pieces he had brought to eat! The second pic showed by Kapil featured himself along with Manmohan Singh and Gursharan Kaur. Both the fists of Manmohan are shut and Kapil claimed, again in a lighter vein, that he has hidden a piece of revdi in each fist!

Kapil Sharma then obtained severe and requested the viewers to provide an enormous spherical of applause for Manmohan Singh.
