Kangana Ranaut meets President, says “she looks nothing short of a goddess”

10 September 2022 (New Delhi): Bollywood’s actress Kangana Ranaut is currently hard at work filming ‘Emergency’. Where she will be portraying former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in this movie. Kangana took a break from the movie to attend the Kartavya Path inaugural ceremony. During which Kangana Ranaut met Draupadi Murmu, the President of India, following this spectacular ceremony. In an Instagram post Kangana Ranaut shared images of her meeting with President Draupadi Murmu.

While Sharing the Insta post Kangana wrote, “What a delight, what an honour to meet Honourable President Smt Droupadi Murmu ji…. Her gentle voice, calm demeanour and compassionate gaze is another worldly…. Sitting on that chair/ throne she looks nothing short of a goddess/ Shakti who nurtures, heals and guides…. As Madam president appreciated me for my work, I told Honourable president when she rose to the highest place a citizen can have in this nation every woman rose in her own place whenever that may be… and we are eternally grateful to her and then she gave me that glowing gaze and I am still soaking in its bliss … Jai Hind”

The Subhas Chandra Bose statue

On September 8, the remodelled Central Vista Avenue in Delhi was inaugurated by the prime minister, Narendra Modi. The newly renovated section runs from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate and is bordered by lawns on either side of Rajpath, which is now known as Kartavya Path. The iconic Subhas Chandra Bose statue made of granite was also unveiled near India Gate by the PM. Following the inauguration of the 28-foot-tall statue of Netaji, he lit diyas.
Meanwhile, Queen Kangana is working on her second directorial “Emergency”. The film also stars Milind Soman, Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry and Shreyas Talpade.
