Kangana Ranaut booked by Mumbai Police for spreading communal hatred.

Mumbai: Bandra Court has ordered Mumbai Police an FIR against actress Kangana Ranaut for allegedly causing communal disharmony. The 33 year old actress has been accused for “defaming the Hindi Film Industry” by a casting director who also said that the actress has been “creating a communal divide between two communities and between a common man” Through her Twitter handle.

“She is well aware of the fact that she is a big star and has a huge fan following, so her tweets will reach out and affect the large group of people.” Underlined by petitioner Sahil Ashrafali Sayyed. The complaint also mentioned Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel.

“The allegations were based upon the comments made on social mdia platform- Twitter and her interviews and throrough investigation by the experts are necessary.” Said Court by directing the police station to take a serious action against the actor and her sister under the provisions of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).

The petitioner’s complaint was filed under IPC sections 153A (promoting enmity), 295A (malicious acts intended to harm the religious feelings) and 124A (sedition) against Ranaut and Rangoli.

The petitioner also stated that Ranaut has been “creating communal division between Hindu artists and Muslim artists” and “maliciously targeting the Muslim community in all her tweets.”

The complaint also included the Queen actress comment on mob lynching of Hindu Saadhus at Maharashtra’s Palghar where she called Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) the “Babur Sena”.

Sahil Ashrafali Sayyed is a casting directot and a fitness model who has worked with well known filmmakers and artists like Ram Gopal Verma, Sanjay Gupta and Nagarjuna.

He also said in the complaint that Ranaut is “portraying the film industry as the hub of nepotism, groupism, gangism, favouritism, drug abuse and murderers.”

“Her sister too, has been spreading communal division between Hindus and Muslim communities through her Twitter account.”
