J.K. Rowling Sorry For Killing Off A Harry Potter Favorite

Admit it, we all hated Professor Snape from the very beginning of the Harry Potter series but didn’t have any clue that he is the silent saviour of our hero. When it was revealed that Professor Snape was being good to out ‘Hero’, we had a soft corner for him but was late, and the saviour was laid to rest.

 And after around a decade of a long wait when the book was first released in 2007, the author J.K Rowling, apologised for killing Professor Snape. On 2nd May, J.K Rowling tweets

“OK, here it is. Please don’t start flame wars over it, but this year I’d like to apologise for killing (whispers)… Snape. *runs for cover*”

 The ‘Battle of Hogwarts’, which signifies the end of the ‘Second Wizarding War’ in the Hogwarts School, saw the death of many popular characters, including Professor Snape, a character that the readers had loved to hate and who was killed by the “Dark Lord” himself.

 Last year, Rowling had also apologised for the death of Fred Weasley and Remus  Lupin which resulted in the “Twitter war” among the fans.

 Though, the apology did garner some funny banter among the potter heads. Read  on:
