It’s Official! Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan to reprise the roles of R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the Hindi Remake of ‘Vikram Vedha’

Superstar Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan are all set to star in the Hindi remake of The Tamil film Vikram Vedha. The film will be directed by the makers of the original film, Pushkar- Gayathri.For the unversed Vikram Vedha’s original version was released in 2017 and starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.

The movie revolves around the story of a cop (Vikram) who is trying to catch a gangster cum drug Smuggler (Vedha). After Vedha voluntarily surrenders himself, he tells Vikram three stories that changed his perception of good and evil.

Vikram Vedha was inspired by the Indian folktale Baital Pachisi. The Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha is slated to release on September 30, 2022.

However, the movie shooting which has already been delayed due to the Pandemic and has hit another obstacle. The entire cast will be first shooting their part abroad as there is quite a news around the new Coronavirus variant.The Mumbai portions of the film will be shoot later when things get normal.

On the work front, Saif has started preparations for playing the role of Ravana in Adipurush. Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan has joined the sets of aerial action franchise Fighter, his first film with Deepika Padukone.
