Instagram notes now enable users to share music.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, recently announced on the official Meta channel that Instagram users now have the ability to incorporate up to 30 seconds of music into their notes, along with text messages and emojis. This update allows users to share audio clips on Instagram notes, which remain active for a duration of 24 hours.
Instagram notes serve as a simplified status feature, visible only in the chat section. Previously, users could only share text and emojis as notes. However, with this update, users can now also share popular songs and audio snippets from the extensive music library on the platform.
Users have the flexibility to delete or replace these music notes at any time, as well as choose who can access them, including followers and close friends. As of the time of publishing, the Instagram music notes feature was not accessible on both Android and iOS devices.
