India’s master stroke on Kashmir issue – Pakistan PM Imran Khan misusing UNGA platform to spread fake information

India’s master stroke on Kashmir issue - Pakistan PM Imran Khan misusing UNGA platform to spread fake information

India has given a befitting reply to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for spreading lies on Kashmir in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Using Right to Reply on Imran’s speech, India said that Pak Prime Minister is misusing the global platform by bringing our internal matters. The Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were, are and will remain an integral and inseparable part of India. This includes those areas which are under illegal occupation of Pakistan. We call upon Pakistan to immediately vacate all areas under its illegal occupation.

India’s First Secretary at UNGA Sneha Dubey said, ‘This is not the first time that the leader of Pakistan has misused the forum provided by the United Nations for false and malicious propaganda against my country and is outraged by the pathetic condition of his country. Trying in vain to divert the attention of the world. He said that terrorists roam freely in Pakistan, while the common people, especially the people of minority communities, are being vandalized.

“Member countries are aware that Pakistan has a history of harboring, aiding and actively supporting terrorists,” he said. It is a country that has been recognized globally as state policy of supporting, training, financing and arming terrorists. Along with this, Pakistan also holds the outrageous record of hosting the largest number of terrorists banned by the United Nations Security Council.

Imran Khan once again raised the rage of Kashmir during his address to the United Nations General Assembly. Stating that Pakistan wants peace with India, Khan said lasting peace in South Asia depends on the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. “The responsibility of creating a conducive environment for a meaningful and result-oriented engagement with Pakistan remains with India,” Khan’s statement said.

Talking about the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, India’s Secretary Sneha Dubey said that we remember the people who lost their lives a few days ago on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. The world has not forgotten that the mastermind behind that cowardly attack Osama bin Laden was given shelter by Pakistan. Even today the Pakistani leadership glorifies Osama as a martyr.

Dubey further said, ‘Sadly, even today we hear the leader of Pakistan trying to justify the acts of terror. This kind of thinking of terrorism is unacceptable in the modern world. On Pakistan’s rhetoric of describing itself as a victim of terrorism, he said, “This is a country that sets itself on fire by disguising itself as a firefighter.” Pakistan keeps terrorists in its home in the hope that they will only harm the neighbours. Our region and indeed the whole world has suffered because of his policies. On the other hand, they are trying to disguise the communal violence in their country as terrorist acts.
