“I did not realize I had an actor in me,” acknowledged the winner of Indian Idol 14, even as spectators and guests were impressed by his acting abilities. I discovered I possessed this talent as well when Shahid Kapoor, sir, gave me his compliments. Additionally, I would love to pursue acting whenever I have the opportunity. And I can always play the lead in my own music videos if not.”

Finally, Vaibhav Gupta talked candidly about his idol Sukhwinder Singh, whom he also had the opportunity to meet on the show. “I’ve always admired and been motivated by him. His songs taught me a lot, and I compared him to Dronacharya. I started to unintentionally adopt the same husky voice, and I now like singing his songs in his manner. It seemed like a dream was unfolding before me when I first met him. In addition, he gave me my shoes, which I believe was a sign that he had guided me in the correct direction. I was able to go thus far because of his blessings,” the winner grinned.
