Team India (326 and 70/2 ) have leveled the four-match series 1-1 after winning the second test against Australia (195, 200) in Melbourne by 8 Wickets.
Opener Shubhman Gill and Rahane kept their composure after Pujara and Agarwal lost their wickets as India chased down an easy total of 70 runs to win the Boxing Day Test on Day 4.

After the debacle in Adelaide, India needed to boost their confidence and they did exactly by winning the match in Melbourne comfortably.
Ajinkya Rahane has been named the man of the match for his performance with the bat and while leading the side in Melbourne. Rahane scored 112 and 27 runs in both innings for India.
